As a Supply Planner you are responsible for planning part of our Dutch or International cheese product portfolio to achieve the expected performance (service level, stock level, loss) at optimal costs.

You are part of the Planning & S&OP team, which consists of 15 colleagues with 2 focus areas: Dutch Cheese and International Cheese. The Planning & S&OP team is part of the Supply Chain organization and works together with almost all disciplines within Velder.

This is what you’re going to do

• A good estimate of customer demand is made in collaboration with the commercial organization.
• You translate this Demand forecast into a production plan or purchasing plan at item level so that the correct stock is managed.
• You monitor and follow up on deviations to deliver the best results and prevent deviations in the future.
• Your strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability allow you to proactively find solutions and contribute to continuous improvements in coordination with your colleagues and suppliers in the chain.
